BURNS NICHT
Thank you to all who made Burns Nicht, and welcome to our Provincial Chieftain and Lady President, Tommy and Lovey Soutar, such a magnificent evening. 70 people attended in a great venue.
Eileen Hynd discovered the industrial washing up machine and wanted to take it home. Thankfully it was attached to the wall!
Thank you to all the committee and all the other helpers who made the evening a success. Thank you to the cooks and those who provided the entertainment. Especial thanks to our pipers – Stewart, Daniel and Matthew.
Last month I told you that Committee members and volunteers would be phoning you to remind you about Burns Nicht. I mentioned that a growing number of your phone numbers seem to be out of order or non-existent, and asked you to phone to update your contact details.
Sadly no-one responded, and it makes us wonder whether you maybe do not receive, or do not read this newsletter. We want to keep in touch, so please, as soon as you read this, please phone Christine on 011 867 5421 to confirm your contact details.
