Dear Friends,

We, the Committee Members trust that you all enjoyed the frivolities of the Royal Wedding as much as we did. Wasn’t it a great day! The six of us had a ball with champagne, food and as always, laughter in abundance.

Now we approach fever of a different nature as we plan the special event of our 20th annual get together. (Like Wills and Kate, let’s bring it in with a bang!) Once again, we’ll be returning to enjoy the hospitality of the Rivonia Bowling Club as they know just how to cater for our needs.

We thank all our regular schoolgirls for your continued loyal support and welcome any suggestions that you may have to make this occasion outshine all the rest. Should you have any suggestions/recommendations, please call one of our numbers as listed below. All of us come across Scottish ladies in our daily lives, so do your thing girls to spread the word. Let’s fill the hall and give the Committee Members a run for your money!!

Talking of money, we have had to increase the cost of this year’s function to R200 as costs have risen considerably since last year. We are however planning a menu of good Scottish fare and are endeavouring to extend our stay at the club on this special anniversary as we are determined to turn it into a “shindig”!

We look forward to seeing our old friends again and encourage each of you to bring at least one new recruit.  Please enter the date in your diaries now.
