Dear Fellow St Andrews Members and friends.
Half way through November, please let us know your requirements seating wise for our St Andrews Night / Chiefs Night Saturday 30th November 6.30 for 7pm.
The Pipe Band will be in attendance along with other entertainment we have lined up for you including Laura to give us a few Highland Dances.
We will have a meal of Steak Pie with sides and Desert cost R80.00 per person R30 00 Children. It is being catered for so we do need accurate numbers as we don’t want running at a loss. (Tea and Coffee will be available on the evening)
We will have the usual Raffle @only R2.00 a ticket,100 tickets for R200.00 if your flush, donation of prizes are most welcome as usual.
Mark and I took part in the “Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Herbert Park” Mark got the Prize for Best Dressed Man and Won the Raffle
We will decide at the committee meeting if we are going to have a Christmas Party again depends on numbers
St Andrews and Eastern’s were well represented as we paid our last respects to our Old Friend John Bell in Welkom. May he rest in Peace, Condolences to Cathy and all the Family,
John may be gone but his Legacy of song will remain for a long time.
On Sunday the 24th The Vaal Scottish Society will be having a year end function details below it’s a Bring and Braai “Wee McGregor” will be there if you require any Scottish Fare, Also BOB (Bring own Booze) Should be a good afternoon Details below, Will follow up next week on any other updates, this was a bit of a rush as Geyser burst at St Andrews House and have been running around getting it tidy, was old so didn’t have drip tray Ceiling came down.
